Srinagar, Jan 27 : Residents of Nalbandpora Safakadal are up in arms against Srinagar Municipal Corporation for neglecting the area.
According to residents, heaps of garbage is lying unattended near Auqaf School in Nalbandpora Safakadal.
“SMC sweepers hardly bother to clean the area with the result the entire mohalla is stinking. It’s difficult to live in the area where there is so much of garbage around,” said Faizan, a resident.
Urging the SMC Commissioner to intervene, the residents said they would take to streets against the attitude of SMC sweepers.
